Streamyx ZONE is a wireless broadband Internet access service available at public places where there are lot of people passing by or business avenue such as shopping malls, coffee shops, eating outlets, convention centers, hotels and many more that allows you 100% mobility when you are on the move.
The Streamyx ZONE technology is based on 802.11b/g (WiFi) Each Streamyx ZONE /WiFI @ Outlet customer will be installed with access points.Places like shopping malls, coffee shops, eating outlets, convention centers, hotels will offer free wifi internet access for the convenience of their they visitors. The access points emit radio frequencies that will be picked up by the Wireless LAN card installed in your laptop, PDA or tablet PC. Provided you are within the coverage of the signal, ranging from 50m to 300m from the access point, you will be able to enjoy wireless broadband Internet access

Steps by steps on how to use Streamyx ZONE to surf the internet
Steps 1:Turn on you laptop and the WiFi service ,and search for SSID.
Steps 2: Choose Streamyx ZONE as your SSID.
Steps 3:Launch your web browser (firefox or internet explore)and the Streamyx ZONE login page will be displayed.

You can purchase Streamyx ZONE Prepaid Card (RM 28)for 30 day unlimited access or RM5 for one day unlimited access at any TM Point outlets nationwide.
2. Soft pin
Customer can purchase Streamyx ZONE soft pin via:
- Online purchase at Streamyx ZONE landing page or go to https://prepaid.tm.net.my.
- SMS for Celcom customers. Type WIFI and sent to 21515. (Standard SMS charge is applicable. RM 0.50 charge for each Serial No and Security ID received)
Streamyx ZONE security issue
For laptop/tablet PC users,it is advice you log out your id after surfing to prevent hacker hack your password, simply click the disconnect button in the disconnect window.For PDA mobile users, just type ‘ap.logout’ at the URL field and click enter.
