one-time simple configuration is required. You need to set the SSID to streamyx Zone and disable your WEP. (SSID is case sensitive) identifier.
Windows 98:
1. Click on START/SETTINGS/CONTROL PANEL/NETWORK
2. Select your 802.11b WLAN adapter
3. Click on the PROPERTIES in the 802.11b WLAN adapter status page
4. Select the ADVANCE tab
5. In the SSID field, enter ‘streamyx zone’ or ‘streamyx hotspot’ and click OK.
Windows 2000:
1. Click on START/SETTINGS/NETWORK & DIAL UP CONNECTIONS
2. Select your 802.11b WLAN adapter
3. Click on the PROPERTIES in the 802.11b WLAN adapter status page
4. Click on CONFIGURE and select ADVANCE tab.
5. In the SSID field, enter ‘streamyx zone’ or ‘streamyx hotspot’ and click OK.
Windows XP:
1. Click ALL PROGRAMS / CONNECT TO / WIRELESS NETWORK CONNECTION
2. Click PROPERTIES
3. Click WIRELESS NETWORKS
4. At PREFERRED NETWORKS, click ADD
5. In the SSID field, enter ‘streamyx zone’ or ‘streamyx hotspot’ and click OK.
